We are a hui (group) of `ekolu (three) complimentary businesses that celebrate our unique way of life in Hawai`i.  Our intention is to share with guests our people, products, experiences, and values of our island home we call Hawai`i.  It is time for us to tell our own stories.  Our stories carry our MANA (spiritual power), and the mana of communities represented, and in doing so, offer to all who enter the mana of Hawai`i TODAY.

Please join us in our FREE cultural classes offered everyday, except Saturdays, in house at MANA HAWAI`I

  • Po`akahi (Monday)

  • Po`alua (Tuesday)

E `olelo Hawai`i kakou- Let's speak Hawaiian! 10 am-11 am:  The gathering is to help you practice and LEARN Hawaiian language.  The focus is on the pronunciation of Hawaiian words, place names, and direction names.  A little bit of language goes a long way, especially in helping you understand a Hawaiian world view

  • Po`akolu (Wednesday)

He Alo a He Alo (Talk Story/Conversation) 10 am-11 am: Face to face is a great way to understand more about each other.  To Hawaiians, it is a chance to make real connections.  What better way to understand more about the Hawaiian culture than speaking with a native Hawaiian? Here is YOUR opportunity!

  • Po`aha (Thursday)

Strum Along `Ukulele Class (for adults and keiki akamai) 10 am-11 am:  The `ukulele is a favorite instrument of locals-young and old.  Everyone plays, and if you don't- you should learn! We will teach some basic chords and a few melodies so you can strum along.  Take a lesson or two, watch someone else play, do whatever it takes to join in- that IS the island way!

  • Po`alima (Friday)

Hula Lessons with Kumu Hula Germaine Haili 10 am-11 am:  Learn simple hula moves (THE BASICS) to get everyone in the family moving! This is an opportunity to learn something about how we celebrate our love of Hawai`i nei! Spend time with the family and have some fun, while working out a different set of muscles.  The family that sways together stays together!
